Box Breathing Technique for Kids
Share
Box breathing is a great tool to teach kids to regulate big feelings.
You inhale for a count of 4, hold for a count of 4, exhale for a count of 4 and hold for a count of 4, then repeat.
This technique helps kids connect with their breath and find grounding in the present moment, helping create some distance from their feelings.
